Scope: Provide construction services for two new Fire Stations for City of Chula Vista. Fire Station 5 is located on an existing portion of Orange Park and Library. Fire Station 5 is approximately 12,250 sf with three apparatus bays, eight dorm rooms, fire operations space, and supporting administrative/living areas. Fire Station 9 is located on a challenging triangular shaped lot and is approximately 13,356 sf with four apparatus bays, eight dorm rooms, fire operations spaces, and supporting administrative/living areas. Both sites include full site development and off-site improvements to existing streets that include emergency exit traffic signals. Station 9 site includes abandonment of existing roadways to be re-designated by City for use as public safety improvements.
Note: Fire Station #9 has been re-numbered to Fire Station #3.
