Scope: Design Build for an approximately 21,000 square foot two-story office building for use by County Probation Department. The structure is a combination of structural steel skeleton with concrete shear walls and concrete filled metal deck. Foundation system includes ground improvement utilizing geo-piers and import of non-expansive fill to support conventional spread footings and grade beams. Project requires compliance with LEED Gold certification and compliance with County of San Diego Zero Net Energy program. High efficiency mechanical and electrical systems are utilized to minimize energy consumption and all energy use is offset with a 98 kw PV System mounted on the roof. FF&E is included as part of this project to provide the County a turn-key facility. Project also includes all site development of parking and landscape including new utilities and a storm water management system connected to City storm water system.
