Scope: Project includes demolition of an existing 897 sf. three story lifeguard tower built in 1974 and construction of a new 3,676 sf, three-story lifeguard station.  Work also to include; erosion control barrier, extension of a 6ft. wide sidewalk; re-striping of accessible parking stalls, landscaping repair as indicated.  Project duration included two year delay due to lawsuit filed against City by a Citizen Group and two each 3 month periods of no work from late May to early September due to work moratorium at beach for summer.
